An Ayurvedic detox Panchakarma package, is a comprehensive program designed to cleanse the body, balance the doshas (body energies) and rejuvenate the system.
Detox Panchakarma package includes an initial consultation with our Ayurvedic doctor to assess individual dosha makeup (prakriti) and current imbalances (vikriti), followed by a detailed assessment of medical history, lifestyle, diet and specific health concerns.
- Abhyanga massage – restores the protective barrier and breathing of the skin, relieves nervous tension and clears the mind, helps remove toxins and normalizes the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
- Podi Kizhi – helps with back, limb, joint and muscle pain. The thermal effect combined with the therapeutic properties of herbs increases blood circulation, relieves inflammation, relieves pain, rejuvenates and strengthens joints and soft tissues, and prevents muscle degeneration.
- Jambira Pinda Sweda is a procedure done using special bags heated in steam or oil, into which a mixture of crushed lemon and herbal powder is placed. Medicinal substances not only affect muscles and skin, making them flexible and smooth, but also have a beneficial effect on the entire body. The procedure is pleasant and enjoyable.
- Njavarakkizhi – Strengthens the immune system, energizes muscles and maintains muscle tone as a gentle exfoliant, improves skin and glow, lowers blood pressure and has many other health benefits.
- Virechana is a forced cleansing process to cleanse the bowels, primarily to correct dosha imbalances.
The package include consultation with doctor on the first day with follow up sessions on the subsequent days.
