Javanese Jamu massage – this is a deep muscle massage, having a pronounced therapeutic effect and is performed predominantly by fingers. Movements occur along the entire body on the energy meridians and start from the periphery of the limb while gradually advancing in the direction of the body (from the feet to the head). Work carried out on the whole body, any actions duplicated on symmetrical side. A unique massage technique can effectively relax the muscles and tendons, improves blood and lymph circulation, rejuvenate and simply feel better.
Jamu, the founder of Balinese oil massage, was born on the island of Java. In fact, the basics of Jamu oil massage follow the same principles and philosophy, as in traditional Javanese massage. Footprint is almost the same, but the use of aromatic massage oils can replace acupressure pressing and kneading, to a greater extent on the slide. The aroma oils, according to tradition, are heated on candles and ginger juice is added. Ginger is said to have a great beneficial effect.
